I can’t find my software in Cloud Connections. How do I connect my data?
It’s important to know if the software you are using for accounting, commerce, and payroll is cloud-based or desktop-based. Please proceed to the next question.
Is my software cloud-based?
If you are accessing your data using your web browser or using an app on your phone, then it is cloud-based.
To connect your cloud-based data to our portal, just follow the instructions under “Cloud Connections” on the left sidebar of your portal and you should be good to go!
If you don’t access your financial data using your browser or your phone, proceed to the next question.
Is my software desktop-based?
If you are accessing your data through an application installed on your computer, then it is desktop-based. If your software is desktop-based, you will not be able to use Cloud Connections. Instead, you will need to export your data from your desktop-based software and then upload them to your portal.

Do I need to reconnect my cloud-based software for every reporting period?
No. Boss Insights uses tokens instead of using your password when connecting to data sources. This means you only need to connect once, and your connection will stay until you revoke access.
Is my data secure?
Yes, your data is secure with bank-level security, and complies with SOC2 certifications.
How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password by going to your portal, and clicking on “Forgot Password?”.
